EMCN® Pure Carbon Support Film
Pure Carbon Support Film is designed to support the dispersion of nanomaterials with organic solvents, such as chloroform and toluene. Carbon films have good electrical and thermal conductivity, and are thin and highly transparent to electrons. This reduces sample drift and enhances sample stability, allowing for the capture of general sample morphology.
Pure Carbon Support Films with no Formvar used during manufacturing, makes it suitable for the TEM sample dissolved in organic solvents, such as methylbenzene or chloroform.
Films are ready to use upon receipt.
Pure carbon films are more delicate than support films with a Formvar backing and require careful handling during specimen preparation. We recommend using handmade tweezers (EZ5888/EZ5889) for a comfortable and professional experience.
These films are available on Cu, Ni, and Au TEM grids with 200, 300, and 400 mesh options. 
We offer two types of film thickness: 10-15nm and 7-10nm.
